With a new year, there are great expectations from the coaching staff, players and fans alike. The beginning of the year gives us the potential to build on the foundation of positive results and strive for excellence. We as a program have everything that we need to obtain any goal that we set, but the main priority is the attitude that we display. As we go through the preseason conditioning, tryouts, practice, games and ultimately playoffs, we as an organization must give 100% effort 100% of the time, in this attitude, our student athletes will excel on the field, in the classroom and in the community and continue the tradition that has been and always will be CHS SOCCER!!

The coaching staff would like to thank the Boosters for all their hard work and time that they give to our program. We would also like to thank our significant others for their moral support and the time that they give up, so that we as coaches can spend the countless hours on the field.

Once again, the 2009-2010 Columbia’s Boys JV Soccer Team will look to build on its past success, as well as to help develop tomorrow’s Varsity players in an effort to keep the program consistently strong.

With a healthy influx of incoming Freshman players, our ongoing success will be a product of consistent team play and attitude with a focus on developing player skills and knowledge of the game.

As always, we will create an environment to help develop the character, ability and strategy of the JV players. In turn, they will be required to contribute their time and effort in building their skills, both mentally and physically. Additionally, the players will be expected to form a brotherhood with teammates and lasting ownership within the program. We are grateful for the tremendous support we receive from the boosters, parents, and community, for they help to make everything possible and meaningful.

Luckily, we continue to have a lot of talent to utilize and will strive - as always - to be the best JV team in our area. I expect we will help to continue to build the legacy that has become Columbia Soccer.
